3M™ Identity Document Issuance System features:
  • Applicants are checked, based on your criteria, to help ensure they are entitled to receive a document
  • Queries can be made on text, images or biometrics against internal or external databases
  • Fully scalable system architecture addresses the needs of small, central and large document issuers
  • Available for driver's licenses:

    • - Secure ID cards are produced using 3M equipment
    - The design of the card may be customized to suit local requirements
  • Available for Seafarer's Identity Documents:

    • - "Seafarers' Identity Documents (SIDs) are produced to help meet the requirement of International Labour Organization Convention 185
    - Prior to delivery of the SID card to an applicant, the barcode is verified to help ensure it is properly encoded
    - Inventory Control tracks the documents at a site and allows authorized operators to void and dispose of documents when required
