3M Completes Acquisition of Aearo Technologies Inc. 1.4.2008 3M announced today it has completed its acquisition of Aearo Technologies Inc, a manufacturer of personal protection and energy absorbing products. The company has approximately 150 staff at its European Head Office in Poynton, Cheshire.

Amendment to European Standard for Particulate Filter(s) approved to EN143:2000/A1:2006 Describes the standard for Particulate filters, which include the 3M 5000 Series Particulate Pre-filters, 3M 2000 Series Particulate filters, 3M 6035 and 6038 Encapsulated Particulate Filters as well as the 3M Crusader P3 Particulate Filter.
