3M offers a large range of double coated acrylic foam tapes in various colours (grey, black, white, transparent) for attaching muntin bars to windows and facades. Muntin bars can be made of painted aluminium, PVC or lacquered wood.

Splicing of insulation

3M 3334 FSK aluminium tape is ideal for attaching aluminium coated fibreglass and rock wool to create a vapour barrier and thermal insulation.

It is a specially formulated adhesive which allows low temperature application, suitable for working on site in winter time. (UL 723, low flame spread, low smoke).

Protection

Temporary protection against moisture and UV

3M Cloth tape 8979 protects the ends of pipes or conduits for outdoor storage during several months. It can be removed without leaving any adhesive residue for up to 6 months after exposure to UV.
